Monster Jam at The Raising Cane’s River Center

Southern Momma’s received tickets to Monster Jam for free in order to publish this post. However, all opinions are 100% her own.

This past Saturday we got to attend another amazing Monster Jam! We were super stoked since this would be our first Pit Party. My son overly enjoyed getting to meet the drivers as well as see and touch the trucks up close! I even thought it was super cool!

This is the second time we attended Monster Jam at the Raising Cane’s River Center. The Raising Cane’s River center is much smaller than the Superdome, which is where our last Monster Jam show was, however, we knew it would still be an action-packed thrilling show!

Before the show, we decided to check out the Souvenir Shop. We got my son a White Monster Jam T-Shirt that way he can get all his favorite signatures while we attended the Pit Party! We also got a 2018 Book, which had a really cool checklist of all the 2018 Monster Trucks that he is now excited to check off as he gets! Of course, he had to get yet another monster truck.

The Pit Party was about two hours long and it was extremely exciting! My son couldn’t have been more excited to meet his favorite truck drivers: Grave Digger, Slinger, Mutant, and Raminator! He did wish Zombie was there, but he quickly forgot about him once he saw how HUGE these trucks were. I have never seen my son’s face so big-eyed!

Since this Pit Party was at 10:30 – 12 and the show didn’t start until 1 PM. We decided to take a look around the venue. We were pretty familiar with it since we have been a few times. We decided to grab lunch since we had a few free minutes! The hot dog was delicious! We each got a little something different and all were tasty!

My son got super excited when the trucks started to come out as the show began. He was thrilled that he got to see some trucks he has never seen before! You can see a million Monster Jam’s but none are always the same! I love how that keeps each show interesting! I find Monster Jam is fun for all ages! Age 2 will need ear protection, but as you get older you can do without. I don’t use the ear protection. Anyone who loves action-packed shows would love Monster Jam!
