Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

Southern Momma’s received the below stay for free in order to publish this post. However, all opinions are 100% her own.

On our recent trip to Orlando, we had the pleasure of staying at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. I could go back to this Resort and just stay there, with having nothing else planned! The resort was stunning, and so many great activities to do in or close to the grounds!

I was excited to have one “relaxation” day at the resort. I let the boys sleep in while I was treated to a Facial. This was my first facial, and my god I am hooked. I felt so relaxed after my facial, especially after a week of nonstop on the go fun!

We went to Disney World, Legoland, and Sea World prior to my facial so getting to relax after all of that was much needed.  I was not only impressed with the resort, but our stay was phenomenal.

Our Room:

Our room was amazing, it really was our Home away from Home. We had a 1,080 square-foot, two-bedroom suite that had a full kitchen, beautiful bathtub, washer and dryer and more!

When we first arrived we didn’t look around, we brought our luggage straight up and took a look around the room. We were amazed at how perfect the room was. My son was eager to check out the balcony, so we quickly noticed how beautiful our view was of the AMAZING pool.

We made ourselves comfortable and feel in love with the room even more. My son was so thrilled, he kept repeating “Mom, we get to live here for a few days??” Seeing how excited he was, was priceless. His reactions about the resort made it even better. Our room had everything we could have needed! The staff checked on us continuously, which made us feel like they really wanted us to have the best stay possible.

Amenities:

Between us and our son, we lived at the pool, outlet, and the game room!

The pool was a blast, for everyone! My son adored the Pirate Ship and loved the slide. He was scared at first, but by the end of the day, we couldn’t get him off of the slide! It was very kid-friendly and not overly packed. We all really enjoyed ourselves. The environment was perfect for us to have fun as well as relax.

At the end of the day, we hit the shops! More of Momma’s idea than the boys, but they tagged along! I was impressed with the variety of stores the outlet had, plus all in walking distance! We enjoyed getting to shop around and purchase at some great deals.

Since the boys tagged along so nicely, we decided to stop at the game room on the way back. Another thing in walking distance! I love that everything was so close to the resort, we honestly never needed to leave the grounds! The boys could have spent hours in the game room! They had a blast, playing games as well as trying to win the little prizes! I was shocked at how kid-friendly the game room was as well. I was expecting more teenage feel, however, it caters to all ages perfectly!

Next door to the game room was the Frankie Farrell’s Irish Pub & Grille, so we decided to stop in for dinner. The food was delicious! I got quesadillas while Brock got a burger. Both were fantastic! The service was fast and the staff was super nice. It was nice to be in a restaurant that we didn’t feel rushed, as if the staff was trying to hurry and get you in and out. We got to enjoy the game on the TV while we ate some tasty dinner!

I very much like the rooms–but it looks like a pirate ship has crashed into the pool!
