Craft Books the Whole Family Can Enjoy

Southern Momma’s received the below items for free in order to publish this post. However, all opinions are 100% her own.

I always love getting new books, especially anything dealing with crafting! I don’t get to craft nearly as much as I would like with my busy life. I was super excited to get these craft type books in with the horrible rainy weather we have been having lately! While my son was napping or playing, I decided to take these bad boys out! The Stick it to ‘Em was really different, my son actually loved this and wanted to stick em everywhere! The stickers were filled with humor and fun! Bentley and I enjoyed coloring the stickers and placing them in different places. Although I thought this would be for me, I enjoyed getting to bond with Bentley over it.

I was beyond thrilled to get the Hand Lettering book in. My handwriting is HORRIBLE, I have always wanted neater and prettier handwriting. I was excited to try and learn how to calligraphy! This book was so neat, I was excited how well everything was formatted to teach me. This was perfect for beginners!

Hand Lettering A to Z: A World of Creative Ideas for Drawing and Designing Alphabets

Author: Abbey Sy

Hand Lettering A to Z is a fun, hands-on book in which artist and calligrapher Abbey Sy presents her creative lettering and invites artists from several countries to contribute alphabets of their own–all unique, all hand drawn. Each alphabet is paired with a collection of phrases to show readers different ways to use the lettering and have fun with it in different languages, including French, Spanish, Irish, Swedish, Portuguese, and more. Readers can use the phrases when making cards, gifts, or embellishing their journals. And unlike calligraphy, hand lettering does not require disciplined study. Hand-drawn lettering is meant to be personal and original, so even beginners can dive in!
